Spend the morning hiking the mountain and if you’re daring enough to climb the Fire Tower, you will see panoramic views from the Catskill Mountains to the Berkshires!
Whether you’re riding your bicycle around the lake or strolling with your children or dog around the ballfields under the beautiful mountain backdrop, your troubles will melt away. Hike the scenic nature trails or bring the kayaks and drift away from Stissing Pond Boat Launch for the afternoon. Bring the fishing rods or spend the day at the Pine Plains Rec Beach for a packed day at the new children’s playground or swimming in the lake, or a BBQ under the Pavilion, a game of volleyball or just relax in the sand. During the winter, the Ice Rink will keep you and the family entertained for hours!
